and as long as i'm in here i'd like to say that this great bullpen the red sox are supposed to have is one guy who hasn't pitched a full two innings all regular season and a parade of nobodies on either side of him.
and i really wish they would stop calling Ortiz the greatest clutch hitter ever. there's no such thing as a clutch hitter. nobody is going to convince me that there is. no stat shows it. none nothing zip zero nada. and last night CERTAINLY didn't change my mind on that point.
